Know God
We believe that people are primarily created for relationship, not only with each other, but with the maker of our souls, God himself.
At the heart of the Christian faith is the greatest act of love that has ever taken place. We dare to believe that a holy God can take away our sins and failures and replace them with his holiness and love - in effect to give us a brand new start.
This love is not found by following a set of rules, being religious or trying to be a better person, which are all external; but allows transformation from the inside – we actually receive the love of God through Jesus Christ.
Sometimes a person comes to faith through a crisis or an event, yet for many others the decision is made after careful reflection and evaluation. God promises to be found by us if we seek diligently: ‘You will find me when you seek me with all your heart’ (Jer. 29:14)
