The Bible in a year
Ever wanted to read the Bible from cover to cover? Well now its possible for you to do this every year with the attached Bible in a year plan. This is the best plan I have found and as you progress year on year, you will find how skilfully the author Robert Murray M’Cheyne has woven together the daily readings .
4 chapters each day is quite achievable, many people read over breakfast or in personal devotions first thing in the morning or lunch break at work, last thing at night – you will know the best time for you.
It has been said that you have to read the Bible before you can study it and this is a great way to do this.
Our English word Theology comes from 2 Greek words Theos meaning ‘God’ and Logos ‘a discourse or an account of’. As you read your Bible and get to know it, you are meeting with God in the pages of his living word and you build up your own theology – your understanding of what God is like and how he interacts with his people.
