At Lakeside Community Church we celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ through changed lives.
We employ contemporary music to enable each person to experience God in worship, and provide a supportiuve ministry for workplace, home or leisure through life-related Biblical teaching, enabling you to make best choices and develop your Christian potential.
Weekly home groups apply Biblical principles to daily life and provide support for single people, the developing family unit including single parents, and those recovering from divorce.
We teach and train from creche onwards, and encourage young people through their teens to develop their gifts and abilities through their own youth cell group networks.
We believe that God clearly shows his care for community by placing his church here, and accordingly we are passionately involved in a number of local initiatives as well as mission to across the world.
Lakeside Community Church attracts its congregation from the community of Perton and surrounding villages and communities; currently 45% travel in from outside the village.
Lakeside Community Church is developing a relationship with the Pioneer network of churches in the UK: www.pioneer.org.uk We are involved with the Midlands network known as VIA (Vision In Action). Pioneer churches and individuals are involved in many projects that recognise the intrinsic value in people.
