Lakeside Money Matters
Essentially we aim to guide you in the right direction, we have to be clear that we do not give advice, but we will help you find and contact people who can give you good advice. No charge is made for this service. We are volunteers and have no ‘hidden agenda’.
If you need some advice before the next course, the Money Advice Service is a good place to start for free, unbiased, independent advice. Beware of companies with misleading names that sound like debt charities but are actually commercial businesses, never pay for services from this type of company.
An evening looking at how you can manage your money online
Starting at 7pm with a light buffet, the evening will be an interactive teaching session which will introduce you to the things you can, can’t, should and shouldn’t do online when managing your money or paying for goods and services.
This introductory session should give you an overview which will enable you to ask the right questions about your own circumstances, and give you confidence to put some of the things learnt into practice.
The evening will finish at 9pm prompt, but there will be time for additional questions if required.
